This modified Mahindra Thar borrows a few parts from the Jeep Wrangler. Thar has received unparalleled popularity ever since its launch. In fact, Mahindra has still not been able to fulfil the pending orders and the waiting times are quite long in some cities for some variants. The video has been put out by a popular aftermarket car shop. They perform aftermarket modifications on popular cars as per the demand of the customers. This time around, the Thar owner wants to gift his wife this modified version on her birthday. At the front of this uniquely customized Thar, one sees the round LED DRLs and headlamps that are available on the Jeep Wrangler, a metallic bumper that aids the approach angle for off-road excursions, new fog lamp housing along with integrated turn indicators and a massive 7-slat grille which is body-coloured.

On the inside, the all-black theme of the stock Thar has been transformed into a black and grey dual-tone pattern. The car shop has installed leather upholstery with grey stitching and extra cushioning. In addition to that, there is the use of carbon finish on the dashboard, around the gear lever, on the steering wheel and on door panels. They have also installed a driver’s side grab handle for added convenience while ingress. The roof has also been wrapped in a leather material with a diamond pattern.

To enhance the convenience, the car shop has installed 9D flooring with mats that are easy to take out due to the velcro. This prevents the floor to get dirty even during the monsoons and it becomes easy to clean up. At the rear, there is the customised upholstery with additional armrest on both sides with cupholders so that the comfort of the passengers at the rear could be enhanced too. As a touch of custom modification, DT (initials of the wife of the owner) have been inscribed on the headrest of all the seats. Let us know how you like this uniquely modified Thar SUV.
