Honda 2Wheelers has released the first teaser of its upcoming new scooter with a statement “Coming Soon”. While the company remains tight lipped about the upcoming model, it’s likely to be the Honda Activa 7G. The teaser image shows the front silhouette that appears exactly similar to the Activa. It features front turn indicators, headlamp, rear view mirrors and handle bars. Official details of the upcoming new Honda scooter are likely to be revealed in coming weeks.
Even if it’s the new Honda Activa 7G, the model is likely to get minor cosmetic and feature upgrades. Similar to the Activa 6G, the scooter will use the same BS6-compliant 109.51cc, single-cylinder engine boosted with fuel injection technology. The motor returns a claimed power of 7.79bhp at 8,000rpm and 8.79Nm at 5,250rpm. Most of the features will be carried forward from the Activa 6G including the ‘Silent Start’ system, pass light switch, a 12-inch front wheel, external fuel filler cap and the conventional telescopic fork suspension unit.
