Ever since I can remember, the Viper has been my favorite car. Of course, if I were to choose, I would always go for one of the first three generations, but towards the end of its life, the Viper went back to being a very cool-looking, very desirable sports car. And, when talking about the ACR version things get even better. Bring A Trailer has a 2016 Viper ACR, equipped with the Extreme Aero Package, listed for auction, and with the current bid at $120,000 with seven more days left, anything can happen.

This specific car is finished in GTS-R Blue Pearl with white racing stripes. It is also equipped with the Extreme Aero Package that adds a revised hood, a front splitter with a detachable extension, four dive planes, an adjustable dual-element rear wing, and a carbon-fiber rear diffuser. The car rides on 19-inches ACR wheels finished in gloss black and wrapped in Kumho Ecsta V720 tires.

The cabin features a combination of black leather and Alcantara with white stitching. As standard equipment, the model came with automatic climate control, an 8.4″ Uconnect touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, power-adjustable pedals, a keyless Enter-N-Go passive entry system, cruise control, and ACR-branded floor mats. The digital odometer reads 4,700 miles, out of which 700 were added during the current ownership. And, since we are talking about ownership, the car was previously listed in Texas, New York, Mississippi, Montana, and Illinois. The current owner bought it back in 2020. The car also has a clean Carfax report.

The Dodge Viper ACR is powered by an 8.4-liter V-10 engine rated at 645 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque. However, for this particular ACR unit, the V-10 has been modified with an Arrow Racing Engines camshaft, new cylinder heads, plus an aftermarket exhaust system. There is no word on what these changes did to the final output, but if anything happened, then the model should be a little bit faster than the standard ACR. As a reminder, the latter goes from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.1 seconds and up to a top speed of 193 mph.

At its launch, back in 2016, the Viper ACR was priced at $117,895. As you can imagine, over the years the sports car became a collectable, and the current bid for this specific Viper ACR is $120,000. With seven days left from the auction, anything can happen, and it could even approach a quarter-million dollars.
