This muscle car has been in air-conditioned and temperature-controlled storage and is now begging to hit the track for some serious burnouts.

It’s probably reasonably safe to say that the Dodge Demon is a much-loved car in the car enthusiast world; whether you love it or hate the style or the brand, it’s an up-to-840 hp muscle car and so arguably wins points in most people’s book.

This car is a Dodge Challenger SRT with the dial set to 11, the fastest and baddest road car Dodge can make, and it’s been out of production since 2018.

Due to the scarcity of the model and the appeal of a production drag car, this car will only appreciate in value – if you wanted one for yourself, nothing could be better than this: the 28-mile Demon.

Thanks to Cellamotors and its YouTube channel, we have an offering of a special car for sale and a slow video walk around to show off its condition.

Don’t worry, it’s no Toyota Prius; it’s a Dodge Demon, a muscle car with a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 making 808 hp and 717 lb-ft of torque, plus the ability to make 9.6-second quarter-mile runs.

Part of the thrill of buying this car could be peeling off the plastic wrapping – that’s right, the seats are still wrapped in plastic, as well as the HVAC vents, floor mats, and more.

It really is in showroom condition, with one owner driving only 28 miles in this car and leaving it in an air-conditioned and temperature-controlled storage unit. Perhaps they bought it after a bonus or startup venture only for things to go south and needed to sell their investment.

So, the value of this car is already appreciating, retailing for around $140,000 used with under 10,000 miles on the clock, an increase of at least $50,000 over its initial retail price.

But there are cars that go under the hammer for $500,000 too, so this is really an expensive way into Challenger SRT ownership.

For a relatively cheaper way to own a quick Dodge muscle car, the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye is for sale at $76,000 on Dodge.com. For that, you still get 797 hp and 707 lb-ft of torque, so you’re making similar figures in the real world for more than $50,000 less than a Demon.

Anyway, this Demon has to have one of the lowest mileages out there, so we can only speculate on the price – but you can't beat that new car smell and the knowledge that it has presumably never done a burnout or gone racing.
