Mangaluru, Sep 17: Medical director of AJ Hospital Dr Prashanth Marla unveiled ‘Honda New City E: HEV’ India’s supreme electric hybrid here at Artha Honda showroom in Kadri on Saturday September 17.

Also, there was a celebration of 25 years of Honda City model and Honda Amaze which has clocked 5 lac in cumulative sales.

Addressing the gathering, Dr Prashanth Marla said, “The need of the hour is Honda E: hybrid electrical vehicle as we are running short of fossil fuel. Honda has successfully completed 25 years and I once owned a first gen Honda City car. Electric vehicle runs for approximately 500 kilometres and we should see till when the battery lasts. The car has excellent features with stunning looks.”

The new Honda City E HEV works on a revolutionary electric hybrid technology that provides a dynamic electrifying acceleration along with efficient fuel consumption and a sensing technology that supports safe driving. It also provides the connectivity through smart watch app that works on alerts and updates.

It has features like door visor with chrome, step illumination 4 lights, window chrome moulding, rood end visor, wireless charger, front bumper side garnish, trunk garnish, tail lamp garnish, door lower garnish, bumper protector front and rear, door handle protector, door edge garnish, body side moulding, perfection of safety, efficient electric regenerative braking, convenience that excites, luxurious space, new trunk lip spoiler, full LED headlamps, Z shaped 3D wrap around LED tail lamp, new claw type fog light garnish, advanced technology, premium designing and equipment.

Chairman Artha Honda Aroor Prakash Rao, Directors Aroor Vidya Rao, Sanjay Ramanujam were also present.
